</body> ["nobody"] is a short experimental film composed entirely of AI-generated portraits sourced from thispersondoesnotexist.com. This website is a neural network that fabricates photorealistic faces of non-existent individuals. what if these faces became sentient? What might they say to us, or to each other? As these digital avatars confront their own artificiality, the piece unfolds as an existential dialogue, questioning what it means to be “real” in a time when the line between human and simulation is increasingly blurred.

This work marked the beginning of my deep engagement with themes of identity, artificial intelligence, and depersonalisation. It opened up my fascination with the technological uncanny and the emotional ambiguities of digital life; it was the first project where I consciously began to interrogate the socio-political implications of generative technologies and their relationship to human subjectivity... </body> was a turning point.
